I sat next to the founding team of Eye-Fi, a Shasta Ventures-backed company that makes a WIFI enabled SD card for digital cameras, to automatically upload photos to photo sharing sites such as Facebook, Flickr or Picasa, or to your computer, last night at the Gadget Fest last night.  The Eye-Fi service automatically handles site logins and passwords, and photo resizing, for whatever outlet you choose for your photos.  The card retails for $99.99.

NISSAN’S COLOR CHANGING CAR
Tuesday November 13th 2007, 10:18 pm

When I was a kid, there were matchbox cars that changed colors, when you dipped them in hot or cold water.  Nissan is allegedly developing a color changing technology, whereby the driver can select from an array of colors, to change the car’s color. They have developed a “paramagnetic” paint coating, which is a unique polymer layer that features iron oxide particles that are applied to the vehicle’s body. When an electric current is applied to the polymer layer, the human eye then interprets the crystals in the polymer as different colors. [source]
