WE took two hh on a week-long canoe trip on the suwannee river. Except for one night on a sandbar, we used them all week. The sag from the newness will go away soon and the durability is unbeatable. On a cool night, I tied a space blanket, underneath and on the outside. I truly believe it added ten degrees or so. (kind of crinkly when the wind blew). I will be exploring the idea of a different type of insulation that you can get from Home Depot. Hammock camping! Who would have thought!
Hey- I have one of these! It's pretty cool especially if you are backpacking and don't want to carry the extra weight of a tent-though one might miss the homey feeling of a tent where you can easily stash all your stuff. The first two nights the nylon ropes really stretched. But I am hoping on night three there'll be no more sagging (that's what the guys at REI promised). For extra insulation, a foam type gound mat works well in the hammock on cool nights (it doesn't slide as much against the fabric of the hammock as the nylon inflatables do).
